Why Do We Sell Bottled Water?

It may sound incredible at first, but it’s a fact that the ICWD sells bottled water. Selling bottled water is another source of revenue for the utility that will be used to help pay costs associated with providing safe drinking water to our customers.

Every time you pay your water bill you are contributing to the revenue the ICWD needs to be your water provider. Controlling our spending has been paramount to keeping rates low—in fact residential rates have not been raised since 2001. Selling bottled water provides additional revenue to help deflect our rising costs and opportunity to pass savings on to you.
